Position will be in Clifton Forge, VA

 Job Summary:

Provides clinical support services to providers to assist in provision of patient testing, improve efficiency and optimize clinical outcomes.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following:

·         Performs specimen collection for presenting for COVID-19 testing or on occasion testing for other diseases.

·         Provides verbal instructions and reviews written instructions with patients as appropriate

·         Prepares and maintains cleanliness of clinical area

·         Cleans equipment following established practice guidelines

·         On occasion, accurately documents patient activity

·         Register patients when needed

·         On occasion, obtain current vitals, patient history, current medications, and reason for visit from patient

·         On occasion, manages supplies and stocks designated areas

·         On occasion, performs venipuncture for the purpose of drawing blood

·         Performs other related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

·         Certified MA training completion or equivalent education or experience License, Certification, Registrations

·         Current American Heart Association BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Current American Heart Association BLS certification

·         Certified Medical Assistant

·         Urgent Care experience preferred.

·         Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred

·         Excellent customer service skills highly preferred
