General Ledger Analyst
This position requires a self-starter with strong accounting skills, who works well under pressure and has solid computer skills with a strong working knowledge of Excel. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
1. Maintains general ledger accounts: amortization of prepaid accounts, accruals of insurance and taxes, monthly depreciation entries for fixed assets
2. Prepares business income tax returns
3. Assists in the preparation and review of monthly and yearly financial statements
4. Reviews and approves for payment real estate and personal property taxes and business licenses
-Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience in with accrual accounting, preparation/review of financial statements and preparation of annual business license filings
-Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
-Accounting degree preferred but not required
-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
